ABOUT

Michael Aaron is not just another singer-songwriter; he's a musical craftsman whose eclectic blend of folk and indie rock reflects a lifetime of diverse experiences and influences. With roots tracing back to his early days playing piano and writing songs in his high school band 'The Adventures Of...', Michael's music has taken him from the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, where he graced the stage for Amateur Night, to the bustling streets of Los Angeles, where he spent seven years honing his craft as an audio engineer, producer, and sound designer.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists including Green Day, Weezer, Billy Joel, Simon & Garfunkel, and Tom Petty, Michael infuses his music with raw emotion and introspective lyricism, capturing the essence of life's joys and struggles. His sound is a tapestry woven with the threads of his influences, from the melodic sensibilities of The Beatles to the earnest storytelling of Wilco and the infectious energy of Guster.

In his music, Michael covers a wide range of themes, from love and sadness to politics and self-reflection. His hope is that listeners can connect with his songs on a personal level, finding solace and understanding in shared experiences and emotions.

Currently, Michael is hard at work on a collection of songs that he plans to release as an album in the near future. Each track is a labor of love, reflecting his passion for storytelling and his dedication to his craft.

For Michael, music has always been more than just a passion—it's in his blood. From his childhood days spent dancing to disco records with his family to his current pursuits as a singer-songwriter, music has been a constant source of joy and inspiration throughout his life.
